Watch Blinged-Out Smino Deal Jewelry In New "KLINK" Music Video

After wrapping up his sold-out North American Hoopti tour presented by yours truly, Smino is back with summer performances at both MoMA PS1 and Lollapalooza, along with a brand new highly-anticipated video for his fans. Today, the St. Louis rapper shared a visual accompaniment to one of his top tracks from his critically-acclaimed 2018 album, NOIR. The new "KLINK" music video finds Smino playing the role of a high-powered jewelry dealer, sitting among a rare collection of diamond-encrusted delicacies including a denim jacket, a pair of Nike Air Force Ones, and even a bejeweled stroller. While it's unclear whether Smino's jewels are authentic diamonds, it is obvious that the video is encrusted with authentic fun and playfulness.

The visual for “KLINK” was co-directed by Nicholas Woytuk of Kamp Grizzly and by Smino himself, whose bright musical aesthetic remains consistent throughout the video, literally and figuratively. The sparkly bling that surrounds Smino in his new video reflects the fun, lighthearted themes explored in his sophomore album, NOIR, as well as his new attitude of, "just having fun and living off [his] own confidence.“

Stay tuned for Smino's MoMA PS1 and Lollapalooza appearances, and watch the new "KLINK," official music video below:
