Five Shows You Cannot Afford to Miss This Week [Live 5]

What should I do tonight? As part of our ongoing series, Live 5, we here at Ones To Watch are here to answer that very question for you, five times over. Combing through the hundreds upon hundreds of shows happening around the world, these are five shows happening this week that you absolutely cannot afford to miss, even if it potentially means booking a plane ticket at this very moment.

Pink Sweat$

Hot off the heels of a sophomore EP that actually rivals his debut outing, Pink Sweat$ will be bringing his pristine left-of-center R&B to Los Angeles and New York this week and you can 100% guarantee to see us in the front row. The first opportunity to hear Volume 2 live, the upcoming Pink Sweat$ shows are not ones to miss if you are even the slightest fan of exceptional R&B.

Stella Donnelly

Australian indie powerhouse Stella Donnelly is a self-proclaimed shit-stirrer and exactly the kind of artist we need in this day and age. Conan Gray

It is no secret that we here at Ones To Watch may just be the biggest Conan Gray stans out there, but then again who can blame us? The bedroom pop phenom is currently whipping up a frenzy with tracks that perfectly stray the line between wistful and outright bops. Throw fellow rising bedroom pop sensation girl in the red in the mix, and you have a tour for the ages.

Deem Spencer

A hazy blend of hushed poetry and lo-fi hip-hop, Deem Spencer is an artist in a class all his own. It a sentiment that was only heightened following the release of his phenomenal 2019 album, Pretty face. And his upcoming show in New York will mark not only the first time lucky fans will be able to hear Pretty face live but will also serve as this artist to watch's first headlining show, and we are predicting it certainly will not be the last.

Let's Eat Grandma

Like a mesmerizingly dark fairytale given sonic form, Let's Eat Grandma is a pop outfit impossible to ignore. The project of Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth, the duo cite everything from Frank Ocean, train journeys, to ringtones as inspiration for their ethereal, idiosyncratic take on pop. And it is a sound all the more transfixing live, as fans will soon be able to attest to as the duo performs a series of shows before playing Coachella.
