Get ready to be transported to a dreamlike realm with the latest single from Eyedress and The Marías. “Separate Ways” is an enchanting collaboration that beautifully blends lo-fi beats with mesmerizing synths and slowed-down percussion. So, sit back, relax, and lose yourself in this magical world of music.

Filipino musician and producer Eyedress is no stranger to collaborating with well-known indie musicians, most recently and notably Mac DeMarco to create acclaimed left-field singles. The Marías, by the same twist of fate, have been busy releasing singles alongside Bad Bunny, Phoebe Bridgers, TAINY, and more, so it seems like a match made in heaven that the two join forces for “Separate Ways.” The single follows Eyedress’ latest two singles with Mac DeMarco, “The Dark Prince” and “My Simple Jeep,” as well as his sold-out headlining show at The Novo in LA.

“Separate Ways” is an eclectic mix of genres, mixing elements of indie, psychedelia, rock, and soul. The Marías’ signature blend of soul and electronica is on full display, creating an atmosphere of euphoric elation. As smooth as velvet and as sweet as honey, the dreamy, lo-fi sound is one best experienced yourself. Just be careful not to lose yourself in the haze of conjured, late-night chance encounters and partings.
