Earthquake Lights Take You to Space in “Another Star”

Occupying the perfect blend of lyrical euphoria and orchestral rock odyssey, five-piece alternative rock outfit Earthquake Lights are back with another spectacular single. "Another Star", inspired by the Voyager spacecraft, blasts listeners with perfect progressions, melodious vocals, and relentless rhythms, uniting to form a perfect blend of euphonious instrumentation and musicality.

Hailing from New York City, Earthquake Lights' cosmic choruses make them a force to be reckoned with. Their latest hit explores the concept of it being shot into space, only to someday be forgotten. They explain, “It's something that was once so relevant but has become dated and now exists far removed from anything that truly cared about it.”

With a sweet, melancholic sound, lead singer Myles Rodenhouse whisks listeners away with his velvet vocals, as he sings “Once you rose with a purpose and a plan, but then day by day, our mission, our ambition, faded with each passing moment, now you're just a memory.” There is a heart-wrenching romance to “Another Star,” which is emphasized by not only the emotional lyrics but also by the soaring string arrangement and twinkling piano keys. Who knew a song about a spacecraft could be so passionate?
